Eyebright is a herb that has been used for many centuries to treat inflammations of the eye and counter excess catarrh.
Contains tinctures of Eyebright, Echinacea, Ginkgo, Elderflower and Nettle. These herbs have been traditionally used to help the symptoms associated with hayfever. Because this product contains Echinacea it should not be given to children under 12 years of age or people on immunosupressive drugs.
Eyebright Complex to help the symptoms of Hay fever
Eyebright complex is a combination of herbs, including eyebright, which have been used in my practice to help treat the symptoms of hay fever without leaving you feeling drowsy. Hay fever can be extremely debilitating for many people each year when pollen is in the air. Hay fever sufferers can get streaming eyes and a streaming nose as the mucus membranes try to flush off the offending pollen from their delicate surfaces.
The herbs in Eyebright Complex may help to reduce this immune over reaction and help to tighten the membrane and make them less sensitive thereby helping the sufferer to feel more comfortable. This formulation does not cause drowsiness like you might get with antihistamine treatments.
