It is thought that it encourages the ligaments and bones to knit together firmly. It is a must for sportsmen and women as it can be used to treat common rugby injuries and common football injuries. As well as Comfrey leaf, Comfrey Joint Balm also contains St John’s Wort oil which has traditionally been used to stimulate tissue repair and also reduce nerve pain in the joint. Ess oils of Rosemary, Juniper, Bay and Ginger help to encourage blood flow into the tissues of the joint to help aid delivery of nutrients and movement of waste products and complete the make up of Comfrey Joint Balm.
